Author Guidelines – SEISENSE Journal of Management (SEIJOM)
SEIJOM welcomes original, high-quality research articles in the fields of business, management, and related disciplines. Authors are encouraged to follow the formatting and submission instructions below to ensure a smooth review and publication process.
Article Template
A structured Microsoft Word template is provided to help authors format their manuscripts. This template includes general guidance on structure, headings, citation format, and styling. [Download Template]
Article Preparation Guidelines
Word Count:
- Articles should be 5,000 to 7,000 words in length (excluding tables, figures, and references).
- Articles exceeding 7,000 words may be considered based on academic merit.
- Articles under 4,000 words will not be considered.
Title, Abstract, Keywords, Author Information:
- Title: Concise and specific. Avoid abbreviations and acronyms.
- Abstract (100–150 words): Structured in five components:
- Objective
- Design
- Findings
- Policy Implications
- Originality
- Keywords: Include 4–10 terms that best represent your research.
- Affiliations: For each author, provide full departmental and institutional information, country, and email address.

Biographical Notes (optional): 100–150 words per author outlining academic background and interests.
File Submission Requirements
Submit the following two files:
- Title Page (separate file):
- Article title
- All authors' names, affiliations, email addresses
- Biographical notes (optional)
- Blind Manuscript:
- Must not contain author details, acknowledgments, or identifying information
- Structure:
- Title (only)
- Abstract and keywords
- Introduction
- Literature Review (Hypotheses development if applicable)
- Methodology
- Findings
- Discussion
- References
Important:
Failure to upload both the Title Page and Blind Manuscript will delay the review process.
Online Submission
Submit your article via the OJS submission system. Ensure that:
- All authors’ names, affiliations, and emails are correctly entered in the submission form.
- The system information matches the uploaded Title Page.
Referencing Style
- SEIJOM follows APA (6th Edition) or APA (7th Edition) referencing style. But it should not be mixed of both referencing sytles.
- Ensure consistency between in-text citations and references.
- Use citation software like EndNote or Mendeley to manage references.
Review and Editorial Process
- Acknowledgment: A confirmation email is sent upon submission.
- Review Timeframe: Editorial decisions are typically communicated within 8 weeks.
- Peer Review: Double-blind peer review by at least two independent reviewers.
- Revisions: If requested, authors receive detailed comments. Revision window: 2–3 weeks.
Authorship Changes
Changes to Authorship After Submission
SEIJOM follows ethical authorship practices in accordance with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines.
Requests to add or remove an author after submission must be accompanied by a letter signed by all co-authors, clearly stating the reason for the change and confirming agreement. The letter should be uploaded as a supplementary file during submission or revision.
All authorship changes are assessed carefully, and SEIJOM reserves the right to deny such requests if ethical standards are not met.
